ADVANCED EMBEDDED TECHNOLOGY
Objective of this course is to impart training to students to understand programming in Embedded System for IT industry from basic to advance & to provide education & training in design, implementation & testing of Embedded System.

Syllabus : Introduction to Embedded Systems and Fundamentals, Intel 8051 / Atmel 89c51 / Philips P89c51RD2, PIC Microcontroller, Architecture & Programming of ARM processor, Concepts of Real Time Operating Systems, RT Linux, VHDL Programming, CPLD / FPGA Architecture, Interfacing, Programming, Modelsim simulator, Project work, Case studies of embedded application life cycle.
CERTIFICATE COURSE IN VLSI SYSTEM DESIGN USING CPLD’S AND FPGA’S
This course is focusing on multi million-gate VLSI System design methodologies for FPGA’s / CPLD’s using Xilinx FPGA Design flow. The course curriculum offers a comprehensive insight into the design methodology & practices for the design of high-end, high-speed systems for various verticals such as Telecom, DSP, Industrial Control & Instrumentation, and Consumer Electronics which are increasingly in demand in the industry.

Syllabus : Introduction to VLSI : TTL & CMOS Technology, VLSI : Fabrication Steps, CAD Tools, Water Simulation Tool, Digital Design: PLA, PAL, FPGA, CPLD, ASIC, HDL Languages, VHDL – VHDL Steps: Programming in Behavioral, Data Flow & Structural, VHDL Programming of Digital Circuits & Interfacing Devices, VLSI Tools: Xilinc ISE Tools, Modelsim Simulator, FPGA & CPLD Kits, VLSI Layout: Scaling, Stick diagram, Layout, VLSI Project.
